Mind's Eye Releases 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon and Proprietary Red Wines September 2011: We
are thrilled to announce the release of
our 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon and
Proprietary "Prop" Red blend. The
growing season for the 2009 vintage was
ideal, capped by a beautiful, dry Fall
that allowed us to get everything fully
ripe before the mid-October rains.
Due to the long season, there is a
wonderful freshness and brightness to the
wines, and a beautiful purity and richness
that we find enthralling. We believe they
will have a long bottle life, not because
the tannins need time to resolve, but
because the wines are so well balanced
they will keep evolving and improving in
the bottle.
Mind's Eye Bottles 2009 Syrah! April 2011: We are
pleased to announce that, on March 31, our
2009 Syrah made the jump from barrel to
bottle. In producing our 2009 Syrah,
Mind's Eye again sourced our grapes from the
world famous Alder Springs vineyard, which is
located high in Mendocino mountains. The
cool climate of Mendocino allows us to create
an elegant Rhone-style Syrah that offers a
touch of California boldness. The
aromatics and flavors of the 2009 Syrah
include ripe red raspberries, lavender,
blueberries and that quintessential Syrah
sense of meatiness. The wine offers a
vividness and wildness that we believe will
appeal to Syrah lovers.

Golf Club recently sponsored a five-course
wine dinner featuring Mind's Eye wines.
We wish to extend our warmest thanks to
the members and staff of HGC. The pairings
included Spring Lamb Tavern Style with our
Proprietary Red wine and braised duck ragout
with Mind's Eye Syrah. Thank you to all
for a wonderful event.

Production in Six Months Shortly after the Christmas holiday, we sold-out our 2007 Mind's Eye Cabernet Sauvignon and 2007 Mind's Eye Proprietary Red. We thank all of you for your support, and apologize to those whose orders we could not fill. Never in our wildest dreams did we believe that, despite the poor economy, we would sell-out our production within six months of bottling. In the process, we joined the wine lists of 17 premier restaurants and wine shops and garnered loyal customers from 21 states. Thank you for your support!
